The Google Nexus 5X, which was launched at Rs 31,990 for the 16 GB variant, is now retailing for Rs 23,400 via Amazon. As for the 32 GB variant of the Google Nexus 5X that was priced at Rs 35,990 is now priced at 33,950 respectively. It will be available in Carbon Black, and Ice Blue variants. Indeed, this now becomes the Google smartphone to buy as the pricing has dropped down to low-cost flagship smartphones. The Nexus 5X is now priced below the Motorola Moto X Style (16 GB, Rs 29,999) and in line with the OnePlus 2 (64 GB Rs 24,999). While many may argue that the rest are better, the LG-made Nexus 5X holds the fort as a pure mid-range Android experience thanks to the software upgrade factor. In terms of specifications, the LG made Nexus 5X comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display (with a 423pi pixel density) along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, which has a 64-bit 1.8 GHz hexa-core processor with an Adreno 418 GPU. The Nexus 5X comes in 16 GB and 32 GB storage variants and does not come with expandable storage options. On the camera front, Google has added on a 1.55 micro pixel size sporting 12.3 MP rear camera along with a 5 MP front facing camera. In addition, the device comes with the USB Type-C connector which will support fast charging technology. The smartphone packs in a 2,700mAh battery with Quick Charge support providing up to 3.8 hours of charge in 10 minutes. With this, the Nexus 5X has seen two price drops since its launch in October at a massive price of Rs 32,000. The total price decline is nearly 30 percent in a matter of two months.
