While everyone is still shocked by Google’s announcement of the new Android 4.4 version, otherwise known as KitKat and not Key Lime Pie , it has possibly given us a glimpse of the next Nexus device. The company released a promotional video to introduce the Android Kitkat, and a commenter in the Verge Forums has spotted an employee holding an unknown Nexus phone.
Is this the Nexus 5?
The video, which has now been pulled out, shows a group of employees taking pictures of the new lawn statue of the Android Kitkat. However, 38 seconds into the video, you will notice an employee taking pictures with a Nexus device. The employee is seen holding a new Nexus device, with its rear side showing a large Nexus logo. It quite resembles the logo seen on the new Nexus 7. The device shows the familiar matte finish and camera seen on Nexus devices. The device also shows the “LG” logo on the back, which means Google could once again partner with LG for its next-gen Nexus device.
Though the video has been pulled out, The Verge has got its hands on a copy. Take a look at the video here .
