Google has introduced a brand new app. Calling it Gboard, this new keyboard from Google, puts the Google search button right inside your keyboard. So you no longer have to get out of your current app to search for something. It is only available on iOS at the moment.

The Gboard lets you search GIFs, emojis, locations and much more. You can then select the search results and send it across in whichever app you are in. The video above explains how Gboard can be used to find restaurants while chatting with your friend in your chosen chatting app.

The Gboard app works across apps and thanks to Google search built in, lets you search and send stuff right from the keyboard.

This is an app that has a lot of intersting use cases, but sadly for now it will only be available on the iOS platform for iPhones. There is no indication when the app will make its way to the Google Play Store.

Earlier today, Google also released the updated Google Translate app that lets you tap to hold to translate from any mobile webpage or app.
