Google has rolled out a new update to Glass and this one has significantly boosted photography on the smartglasses. The new update brings the option of HDR photography and voice powered photo captions to the device.

HDR photography: Basically theHDR mode takes multiple photos in rapid succession at different exposure levels, then automatically combines them to give you the best option in terms of brightness levels.

For instance if you are shooting in low light, Glass will detect it and will automatically capture a brighter, sharper picture. If there’s too much light, the new software will make sure your pictures don’t appear washed out. You can check out an album put out by Google with all the photos with HDR and without HDR here to see the difference.

Google Glass has5MP camera which can also shoot video at 720p resolution. For a full list of Google Glass specs, click here .
