Some nifty improvements have been doled out to Google Drive, including an improved spell check and additional customisation lists, to help users organise their work better. With the updated spell check feature, users can check the spelling of their entire document or presentations in one go, instead of doing it individually. To help Drive users format their documents better, Google has added new presets for numbered and bulleted lists. Users can change the colour, size and style of individual bullets and/or add their own customisations.

Google confirms in its post that these changes are based on the feedback that it received from users. The changes have been rolled out already and you access the improved spell check by clicking on “Tools” and selecting “Spelling”.
Following a recent update, Google Drive users can now hyperlink text in Docs and Slides when they want to include more related information to a word or a sentence in their document. The hyperlink tool will also offer suggestions to users based on the text they are hyperlinking. This is especially useful in situations where users do not have the required link handy. This new ability is already available and you can get to it right away. First, select the text you want to hyperlink and then click the “insert link” icon from the menu bar. Alternatively, you can use Ctrl + K. By introducing hyperlinks to specific words or text, users can make their brief, concise document more informative.
