Google Doodle pays tribute to voters on 2014 Lok Sabha elections results day

Google realises just how big an impact today’s election results will have on India and there’s a doodle on the home page to signify it.   For Google Doodle nerds, today’s work is not all that remarkable. It’s a very simple doodle, with the letter L being replaced with a hand with an ink-stained index finger. It’s a very obvious take, but it’s got an impact nonetheless.   Clicking on the doodle takes you to the live election results portal, where Google is live streaming some news channels and has the entire collection of all election related videos.   Google has been on the ball as far as the 2014 Lok Sabha elections are concerned, beginning with the elections portal, which aggregated all articles related to the leading parties and candidates. It also routinely released lists of top election related videos on YouTube and on what can be called the final day of the elections, it’s signed off with a doodle, that’s simple yet powerful.
