Google has updated its Calendar app for Android as well as iOS. With this new update, users can keep a track of important things that they want to remember with Reminders.

The app lets you create calendar entries such as a doctor's appointment or other important errands. Reminders will let you track these activities until done. In case a Reminder isn't completed, it will appear at the top of your Calendar. It will keep reminding you until you swipe it away on completing the task.

"If you add a Reminder to make a call or run an errand, the number or address will be right there when you need it. Just like Inbox by Gmail, Calendar uses information from your contacts, as well as Google's knowledge graph to provide this extra bit of help," Google writes in a blogpost.

Users can create Reminders from Inbox, Keep, and Google Now. A Reminder can be created when you are checking your email and it will show up on the calendar right away. Google also lets you record Reminders in Google Now.

Reminders will be rolling out with the latest versions of the Calendar app on Play Store and App Store. The company also plans to bring it to web.
