Gionee is still new to the Indian market in many ways, but is quickly moving up. At Rs 9,999 though, we’re not sure how good a buy this phone will make. At the exact same price, we have Xolo’s Q700 and this phone does score an edge over Gionee’s. For starters, at that price, Gionee is offering a display resolution of 480 x 854 pixels aka FWVGA on its phone, while Xolo is offering a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels on its smartphine. In addition to that, against Gionee’s 1800 mAh battery, Xolo offers a 2400 mAh battery on its Q700 smartphone.
That aside, the smartphones offer similar specs. Gionee’s CTRL VG then is a powerful phone in the budget range. Tell us what you think about it.
