Along with the Gionee Marathon M5 Plus , the company also unveiled a new smartphone called the Marathon M5 Enjoy in China. The device is priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 20,500) and now available for purchase via the company’s website. It will be offered in a gold colour variant. In terms of specifications, the device is very similar to the Marathon M5. It comes with a 5.5-inch 2.5D TFT IPS display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and a 267ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with 3GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 16GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. In terms of connectivity, the Marathon M5 Enjoy includes 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth as well as A–GPS. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 UI on top and comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera along with a 5MP front-facing camera. The device packs in a 5000mAh battery which is said to deliver 52 hours of talk time along with 775 hours of standby time.
