Ubisoft’s latest entry in the Ghost Recon franchise, Future Soldier, has now officially been pushed back to May 2012 and Adrian Lacey, IP development director at Ubisoft Studios - France provides us with an official response, “We have taken the decision to move the date in order to ensure that all these ingredients are pushed to the highest level and provide a truly unique shooter experience. The Ghost Recon franchise is known for setting the standard of high definition gaming and we believe the extra couple of months will allow us to reach that goal. We would like to thank all Ghost Recon fans for their patience and look forward to unveiling some exciting new elements in the coming weeks.”

I’m a Ghost and I love my job
The multiplayer beta that was to kick off this month has also been pushed back to April for both the Xbox360 and the PS3. Ghost Recon Future Soldier will now be available for the PS3 and Xbox360 by the 25th of May 2012 while the PC version will hit stores at a later, unannounced date.
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
