Ghost Recon Future Soldier dated

There’s been little to no action from the Tom Clancy brand of games in recent times. The guys at Ubisoft are busy working on a new Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell game but in the meantime you can whet your appetite with the new Ghost Recon title that should be available early next year.

According to Game Informer , Ghost Recon Future Soldier will be available for the Xbox360, PS3 and PC (which in all probability will be delayed) by the 6th of March 2012. All those who picked up the limited edition of Splinter Cell Conviction will gain access to the game’s multiplayer beta that should kick off in January.

Like the new Rainbow Six series, Future Soldier will be played out from a first person perspective moving to a third person one as and when your character takes cover. This being the future, you’ll obviously have a ton of snazzy gadgets at your disposal so taking out tangos should be as easy as eating pie. We hope this gameplay trailer explains it a bit better.

Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
