Ubisoft today finally announced a 19th April release date for Ghost Recon Future Soldier’s multiplayer beta. This beta will end by the 2nd of May for both the Xbox360 and PS3. Not surprisingly there’s no mention of a PC beta. The multiplayer only beta will allow players to sample four classes - rifleman, engineer, and scout classes as well as two game modes – Conflict and Saboteur.

Welcome to the future
Xbox360 owners can gain access to the beta through Splinter Cell Conviction while PlayStation Plus members will get first preferance access. We’re guessing this beta will be open to all towards the end. In addition to this, Ubisoft has also announced Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Commander, a tactical combat game for Facebook (lol?). It seems this version may also be ported over to mobile devices in the future. Ghost Recon Future Soldier releases on the Xbox360 and the PS3 by the 22nd of May 2012.
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
