Getit Launches Local Search App For iPhones

Have you ever found yourself stuck in an area, looking for a service, without a clue as to how to get it? Getit has the answer for you. Getit Infoservices Pvt. Ltd., India’s widest search service has launched an iPhone app that allows a user to access information anytime and anywhere from their iPhone.

The app not only provides location-based information, but also provides information on services such as the nearest mechanic, plumber, real estate agent, taxi, educational institute, cinema, etc., in the area a user is in. In addition to this, the iPhone app also auto detects your current location using GPS. It  provides Quick links to top/ popular categories, refines your search based on attributes and location, it shows an interactive map with directions, calls any business with a single click/tap, shares businesses via email or SMS, among others.

Speaking about the new app, Sidharth Gupta, CEO of Getit Infoservices Pvt. Ltd. said that the company wanted to be the pioneers to provide free local search to the exploding smartphone market in India and the launch of their iPhone App is a giant step in that direction. He also went on to state that the company would also develop the app targeting other smartphones.
