Need marriage counseling? Here is a website 2-in-2-1 (Two Into One) that provides free counseling right from planning a wedding, to enriching and enhancing couple relationships, offering support through marital problems and even the challenges of breakdown and divorce.

Married in 1979, Liz and David Percival suffered the struggles and joys of married life, raising three children along the way. They attended a marriage encounter session in 1985 that changed their perspective towards marriage. This motivated the couple to start this website. “We celebrate our marriage each day and we want other couple to experience the same celebration,” says founder David Percival. The internet has provided an ideal platform to reach out to people and this is how the website was born.

David has 30 years of professional business experience including having been the managing director of a consultancy firm while Liz has experience in research, publishing and library operations.

The website does not provide personal counseling. The queries are forwarded to the most appropriate source of support free of cost. In addition, users can also help other couples in distress by sharing insights through the forums which are strictly moderated to prevent spam or irrelevant advice.

The website was formed in 2000 and it aims to remove the barriers commonly faced by couples by bringing together the widest possible array of services and advice under one roof, whilst maintaining confidentiality and anonymity to every visitor.

Individuals and couples in need of help can post their queries on the site and their query goes through the appropriate channel and is then answered. The database of the site is secure and is fully complaint with the UK Data Protection Legislation.

“People of every age group value long-term, healthy relationships, but changes to family lifestyle and structure have deprived many of the next generation of both opportunity and skills. A core principle of 2-in-2-1 is a commitment to equipping people to build sustainable relationships which reach the deeper emotional needs of each person,” says David Percival

Belonging to the Christian faith, the Percivals operate out of a Christian concern for marriages. However, majority of the advice offered is appropriate for couples of any background or faith.
