Borderlands 2 has been out for a year now, and just a couple of months ago, Gearbox officially finished off the game’s season pass DLCs. Instead of letting the game fade into obscurity, however, the company has announced over Twitter that a new short film based on the game will be coming next week. Along with the announcement, the company has also released a teaser image.
We hope the movie’s as funny as the game
Back in July, Gearbox announced the Headhunter Pack: T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest DLC for Borderlands 2. The DLC will be released this fall, and will include a new mission and a themed boss fight with T.K. Baha, who fans will remember being present in the first game and some of its DLC. Beating Baha will award players with new customisation options for their characters. The price for this DLC hasn’t yet been announced. There will be more Headhunter Packs released later.
Borderlands 2 has gotten a lot of DLC over the (almost) year since its release. The last DLC released for the game was Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, which was the last major story DLC pack part of the Season Pass. The DLC revolves around Tiny Tina as she gets the main cast of Borderlands 2 to play a board game based on Dungeons & Dragons. The vault hunters are sucked into a medieval world in the mind of Tina as she narrates the story and makes some rather interesting changes along the way.
Borderlands 2 is available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
