For Digitized Documents, Sign with EasySign

You know the whole process of someone emailing you a document to sign, you printing it out, signing it, scanning it, emailing it to the sender and then sending them the original for backup? You don’t have to do that anymore. Yea, welcome to the 21st century. Meet EasySign. The app is a business app that allows you to place a digital signature on any document. Say someone emails you a document, you open it in your iPhone’s Mail feature, open the document within EasySign, place your signature, initials, name and date on the document, save and email back to sender all within the span of ten minutes.

I actually used the app and it worked out pretty well. You scratch your signature in, which initially, I was a bit worried about because of how different your finger traces your signature versus your hand writing it. However, after a few tries, my signature was very close, if not matching my average hand written signature. The only thing is you can’t do dots, so if you have “i’s” in your name, they’re not going to be dotted. You can resize your signature and choose between blue, black and red for its colour. When you open a document, you add the signature and then specify which spot exactly you want to add it. You place your name, date and initials in the same manner. It takes a little getting used to and a little fanangaling, but once your muscles are tuned to the app, it’s handyness is pretty evident. You’re able to store 3 people’s signature in the app for added convenience.

The number of documents you sign, isn’t unlimited however. The first three documents are free, and then after that, document packs of 10 ($2.99, Rs. 133), 20 ($4.99, Rs. 223) and 50 ($14.99, Rs. 671) can be purchased in app. Watch the video below to see a demo of the app. EasySign is available for free from the App Store.

Paddy does not, we repeat, definitely does NOT belong in the category of Mac-head (yeh right!). She does get excited by her iPhone and her iMac and her iPod Nano and her Macbook and Bali's iPad and her future iHouse (patent pending). Ok, so maybe her head is a little bit forbidden fruit shaped. She likes shooting video (iPhone 4 camera zindabad!) and editing montages (Final Cut Pro zindabad!), whether the scene calls for it or no. In her spare time, she's either kicking it on stage with KB the keyboard or kicking butt at Taekwondo. see more
