Fly Mobile has launched four new devices - three smartphones and one tablet.

Fly Mobile has launched four new devices - three smartphones and one tablet. The Fly 51 smartphone is priced at Rs 7,790, the F45s smartphone will cost Rs 12,500, the F40 smartphone will be available for Rs 4,500, and the F8s tablet can be bought for Rs 13,499.

The F51 smartphone is equipped with a 5-inch WVGA screen and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor, and keeping it alive is a 1,800 mAh battery. It has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, and comes with the usual connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPRS and EDGE.

The F45s smartphone runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and sports a 4.5-inch qHD display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and is equipped with a 2,050 mAh battery. The camera on the back is a 12 megapixel shooter with a BSI sensor and the one on the front is a 3 megapixel camera. It has 2.5GB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 32GB. Multitasking comes easy thanks to 1GB of RAM.

The F40 smartphone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It is equipped with a 4-inch HVGA display and is powered by a 1 GHz processor. It has a 3.2 megapixel rear camera, along with a VGA front camera. It comes with pre-installed apps including Facebook, Nimbuzz, YouTube and Opera. The dual SIM handset is aimed at those on a budget.

The F8s tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It has an 8-inch IPS display, and has support for 3G and EDGE. The tablet is capable of HD video chat and features dual speakers.

At the launch of the devices, Fly Mobile boss Rahul Goel said, “The products are user-friendly and technologically superior in every way.  They are designed to take technological standards a notch higher and we are hopeful that the phones and tablet will cater to the demands of the youth as well as adults.”
