Flipkart's Republic Day sale kicks off: Here are the top deals on smartphones and laptops

Flipkart’s Republic Day sale from 21 - 23 January has begun and the e-commerce giant is offering a ton of deals on various products. Not to be outdone, Amazon India has also started its own Great Indian Sale from 21 - 24 January. Here are some of the top offers on both the websites. Reuters.[/caption] Flipkart and Amazon have both given discounts on various smartphones.  The **Pixel 2 XL** has been offered for Rs 48,999 after a flat Rs 11,000 discount and also another Rs 10,000 discount if you use an HDFC credit card. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is being priced at Rs 26,990 after getting a price slash of around Rs 16,000, while the S7 Edge has gotten a price slash of nearly Rs 6,000 and can now be purchased at Rs 35,900. Apple’s iPhone 7 (32 GB) is now available at Rs 40,999. Samsung’s Galaxy On Nxt is now selling at Rs 11,990 after getting a price slash of Rs 6,000. The Panasonic Eluga A3 has received a discount of Rs  5,000 to settle at a price of Rs 6,499. Moto G5 Plus has also been offered at a flat discount of Rs 6,000, bringing its price down to Rs 10,999. **Honor 8 Pro** receives a flat Rs 5,000 discount and is now available at Rs 24,999. Moving over to laptops. Flipkart has offered upto Rs 8,500 off on the purchase of Lenovo Yoga 510  laptop by exchanging your old laptop. The exchange offer is valid on several other laptops as well from Dell, HP, Acer, and Lenovo. There is also flat Rs 4,000 off on selected Acer and Intel Core i3 laptops.
