Apart from these two sizes, you have the 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch models as well.   The 4K UHD TVs come with a native resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. All the models support 3D viewing and Videocon has bundled four active-shutter glasses along with the TVs. Each TV has a 1MP webcam atop the bezel. Apart from this, the TVs have a host of features such as motion-sensor gaming, voice control, face recognition, gesture control, MHL support, Intel WiDi, USB 3.0 support, screen-mirroring, 3D gaming and so on. Each TV also comes with a dedictated gamepad to play games on the TV.   Videocon has used a customised version of Android as its operating system. It comes with a smart remote control as well which has very few buttons and a large track pad. Videocon has its own app store from where you can download content. Games such as Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, Riptide come pre-loaded on the TV.

With sales starting shortly, Videocon is planning a 360 degree advertising campaign and hope to sell a lot of 4K TVs around the upcoming festive season. But without native 4K content available, it will be tricky situation. Videocon did not mention about any partnership with local TV channels to come out with 4K feeds. Videocon has in the past announced a 4K UHD set top box. Even TataSky had shown off a UHD 4K set top box last month, which it expects to launch in January next year.   Let us look at the Videocon 4K UHD TVs more closely below.   [caption id=“attachment_231225” align=“aligncenter” width=“640”] From the left to right, you see the 65-inch, 55-inch, 50-inch and 40-inch models of the Videocon 4K UHD TVs From the left to right, you see the 65-inch, 55-inch, 50-inch and 40-inch models of the Videocon 4K UHD TVs[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_231227” align=“aligncenter” width=“640”] The smart remote control coming with the Videocon 4K TV has a large track pad and a big four-way arrow key below The smart remote control has a large track pad and a big four-way arrow key below[/caption] [caption id=“attachment_231229” align=“aligncenter” width=“640”] Screen mirroring worked flawlessly, but we wonder how many of you would want to see a low-res upscaled view of your mobile device on the 4K panel? However, it remains to be seen whether Videocon as a brand can withstand competition from more seasoned companies like LG, Sony and Samsung in the 4K TV segment.
