We’ve been monitoring the Firefox updates as they arrived over the last couple of months. After a few unexpected delays, things got back to normal and the final release was slated for the 22nd of March. Mozilla stores all of its Firefox builds on FTP servers. Mozilla is yet to make an official announcement on the launch, but is expected to do so in the next hour.

If you want to go ahead and download the final build, head on over to Mozilla’s FTP server . Builds for Windows, Linux and Mac are available. Some of the new features of Firefox 4 include hardware GPU acceleration which uses the graphics card on your PC to accelerate some of the rendering. There have been specifications and standard upgrades done as well. There’s also an improved interface that allows for better organization of workspace and tabs while browsing.
