Finally Official - The Xperia Play

The Xperia Play (a.k.a the Playstation Phone) has been leaked to hell and back. Videos, Pictures, hands-ons – it’s got the whole treatment. It’s even on sale in China, but Sony Ericsson had until now refused to budge and divulge any official details about the phone. They didn’t even flinch when an ad was leaked. That’s all changed, though.

Ready to Play

The company has finally broken its silence, by posting on their Facebook page about an official announcement on February 13 in Barcelona, as well as airing an ad during the Superbowl. It’s been ages since we, and the rest of the world, figured the gaming phone would be launched at MWC, but it’s nice to see it concrete and being made official. With the possibility of getting to know more about the Playstation Suite also looming large, the conference might end up being a pretty big one.

Anyway, the event is less than a week away and we cannot wait. What about you, are you ready to Play?
