FiiO F9 PRO in-ear monitor earphones with Knowles 30017 drivers launched in India at Rs 12,990

Having launched X3 Mark III lossless music player back in September, Chinese audio brand FiiO has now launched the triple driver F9 PRO in-ear monitor earphones in India at a price of Rs 12,990.

Based on a statement by the company, the IEM will be available across retail outlets and the company's e-commerce website starting 1 February, they are, however, already available for pre-orders on the website. The earphone has been positioned above Fiio's F9 hybrid IEM which is currently priced at Rs 7,990 on its website. The F9 PRO was launched globally in November 2017 and has now made its way into the Indian market.

The FiiO F9 PRO uses one dynamic driver and two balanced armature Knowles TWFK-30017-000 drivers that provide users with an accurate listening experience. While the dynamic driver handles the lows in an audio track, the two balanced armature drivers take care of the mids and higher notes.

The company has also changed the colour of the IEM's to titanium and tweaked the headphone plug to an L shape after taking into account the feedback received from F9 hybrid users.

The F9 PRO comes with two cables, namely, a 2.5 mm balance cable and a 3.5 mm single-ended cable. The 3.5mm cable includes in-line controls for adjusting the volume, play/pause songs, switching tracks as well as an integrated microphone for taking phone calls.
