After the rather repetitive and mundane experience that was Far Cry 2, Ubisoft looked like they’ve learned from their mistakes with Far Cry 3. Announced at E3 2011, Far Cry 3 looked like it was returning to its tropical roots mixing fast paced gunplay and gorgeous visuals with an open world environment. And the results looked rather spectacular.

Ubisoft continue to impress with a brand new CG trailer released today. This trailer touches upon the back story of protagonist Jason Brody who after a rather violent alteration with the game’s prime antagonist becomes a one man army. Be warned though, this trailer has a lot of profanity so it may not be safe for work. Far Cry 3 will release for the Xbox360, PS3 and PC by the 7th of September 2012.
