Sharing feelings on Facebook, a feature previously reserved only for smartphones,  will soon be available for all mobile devices through Facebook for Every Phone. Facebook for Every Phone is an app developed by the social network to include users on different platforms all around the world.   This week, Facebook will  begin rolling out the feature that allows users to add feelings to status updates  through the app. This new feature allows users to update their current mood with a matching emoticon along with the text. Facebook says that the feature will work exactly how it currently does on other interfaces.   Apart from pre-written ‘feelings’, users can share what they are listening to, reading, watching, or eating, and with an icon and links to relevant information.   This feature ensures that users who do not own a smartphone can still access Facebook for a nominal cost and is now serving 100 million users across the world. The social networking giant has tied up with multiple service providers in India to offer free access to the website for a limited amount of time, too.   This app makes sense for Facebook in developing countries such as India where not every one owns a smartphone. Thanks to India’s growth, in terms of active users during **April-June quarter last year** , Facebook’s Monthly Active Users (MAU) grew by 21 percent from 955 million last year to 1.15 billion this year. India and Brazil were at the helm of this growth.
