Facebook celebrates twenty years of Harry Potter by bringing magic to your News Feed

It has been twenty years since the first Harry Potter  novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was released. For some of us, this is one of those “I’m feeling old moments”. The tech giant has reminded its **Pottermore** fans of the magic that once existed in the hallowed corridors of Hogwarts. To unfurl the magic, users will have to comment or post any of the following five words or all of them together: Harry Potter, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. While the names of the houses change into their respective colours, ‘Harry Potter’ turns red. However, the magic begins when one clicks on any of these words. A wand appears at the bottom, which twirls to create magic. JK Rowling had released her first Harry Potter novel on 26 June in 1997. Following this came six other novels under the same franchise. Rowling’s last release was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. These books have been turned into films by the Warner Brothers. Earlier this year, Rowling had released Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a stage play that was also turned into a book. In 2001, Rowling had also released a book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, an addition to the franchise. It was made into a movie in 2016. So, without any delay type out the names of the houses and commemorate the magic that has been in our lives for twenty years.
