We carried an article last week on how Monolith was planning on pulling an Enemy Territory on us by releasing F.E.A.R. Combat, F.E.A.R.’s multiplayer aspect fully free, and now that day is upon us. The game ships with:

10 Multiplayer Game modes
19 Multiplayer Maps
12 different weapons
Punkbuster support for anti cheat support
The capability to download user generated content

I totally enjoyed F.E.A.R.’s multiplayer demo so I’m definitely checking this out; slight warning for 56K users though, the game’s a bit hefty (1.8 gigs to be exact). You’ll have to head over here to download the game, and to play it you’ll need a CD key, which can be obtained by filling out the registration form here .
