F.E.A.R. 3 Delayed

F.E.A.R. remains one of my favorite first person shooters till date. Fusing a rather weird but successful formula of Japanese horror and slow-mo John Woo-esque action, it was a balls to the wall action game, interspersed by some terrifying moments.

Army of T.W.O.

F.E.A.R. 2 on the other hand was a dumbed down, console port that broke my heart. Now hopefully Day 1 Studios can repair the damage inflicted by Monolith with F.E.A.R. 3 that’s all set to hit stores this May .

In case you’ve not been following up on the game, F.E.A.R. 3 will introduce co-operative play where one player controls Point Man (protagonist from the first game) while the other plays as Paxton Fettel. Gameplay as the Point Man will stay the same as previous iterations while as Paxton players will be able to take advantage of his telekinetic abilities. Oh and you’ll be able to possess people. Sounds like fun? We sure hope so.

Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now. see more
