EA Drops Create PC Demo

After the success of LittleBigPlanet, EA decided to jump on the “cute open-ended” platforming genre where players could basically create and share whatever their heart desired. If the thought of doing so appeals to you, check out the demo to their latest game, Create that’s available right now .

_I doubt you can create a psychedelic vortex but it’s worth a shot

And in case you’re a bit late to the party, here’s what Create is all about:

The more players explore the game, solve level-based challenges, and customize their world, the more rewards will be unlocked. Creativity will be unleashed as players design environments with easy-to-use brushes and tools, including textures, props and animating objects that bring the scene to life. On the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and MAC players can share any of their creations, solutions or challenges with the community through the console and also via the official Create website at www.create.ea.com . Friends can download and remix solutions and set challenges for other players to download and complete.

Unfortunately Create will only release on the PC and the Wii in India towards the end of the month.

Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
