While the trailer looks engaging, the game is expected to go on sale only during the holiday season in 2015. Rhianna Pratchett, the Tomb Raider writer has also confirmed that she will be ‘part of the team’ for the new game too. The revelation came via her Twitter account. Take a look at the tweet below.

“Parts of the trailer are the sort of things we’re used to seeing in pre-rendered trailers, but the idea that the events of the first game have stuck with Croft, to the point that she’s either seeking or forced to deal with professional help, is something that is rarely talked about in games. The idea that the events of the first game have hurt her mentally, and presented her with things she is continuing to work through, makes her a person, not a two-dimensional action hero, suggests Polygon .

Apart from Xbox One,  there is no word yet on what other platforms will get the Rise of the Tomb Raider. The Tomb Raider was released in 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
