The gameplay of the hit game will be quite a contrast to its previous installment with competitive leaderboards that will grade players on the basis of their ability to complete numerous contract killings. The new game is similar to the ‘Sniper Challenge’ which was a part of Hitman: Absolution in 2012.

The game focuses on the player’s ability to be subtle and unrecognized during an execution. The game also demands the player to be vigilant about his surrounding while performing these sniper executions.

The developers have maintained that Sniper series will be free-to-play with in-game transactions for early contracts and upgrades. It is an interesting move by the developer to be giving out the game for free considering Hitman GO was launched today at the price of $4.99 on the Android platform.

The Hitman game is under development for PC and console platforms. Hitman: Sniper is scheduled to launch this year on unspecified mobile platforms. Square Enix Montreal will be giving information about the game at E3, so we suggest you keep your eyes and ears open.
