E3 2011: Crytek Presents Ryse

At Microsoft’s E3 press conference last year, they teased a hack-and-slash action game from Crytek, the German development studio behind the Crysis games called Codename Kingdoms. This year, they showed off that game only now it’s called Ryse and it’s a Kinect game (yeah I cried too).

Details are scarce at this moment but the game looks like a first person, on-rails romp through the brutal Roman era where players will be able to annihilate their opponents using, well their own hands and legs. Expect more details in the coming days.

Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?).
