 "Dungeon Siege Launches into Space")
Chris Taylor and Gas Powered Games’ popular role-playing franchise is headed in a completely new direction – into space. The game is scheduled for a Q1 2008 launch, which means that it’s probably been in the works for a while now.
Moving away from the traditional mythical settings of blade-meets-monster, Space Siege will focus on engineering yourself using cybernetic implant/upgrades at the cost of your humanity. The storyline will supposedly involve Earth being destroyed, and you’ll be stuck aboard the last remaining spaceship. Just like the Dungeon Siege games we’ll probably see a co-op mode in Space Siege, which will be equally kick-ass. Let’s see what they reveal about the game in this year’s E3 (which is next week by the way).
