With this release (Android Experimental Forum Build - 2.2.2.8), a user can share several photos at once, organise their favourite photos into albums, and even delete multiple photos at once. UI improvements and updates are sprinkled throughout and the developers claim that there are a lot of other little tweaks and bug fixes.

The developers at Dropbox state, “We’re trying something new with this forum build. We’ve added a feature to opt in for future early releases directly through the app. For forum build downloads this feature is on by default so you can easily get updates to the forum build and the final release a bit early. You can also toggle this option on and off in the app’s settings.”

A few days ago, Dropbox updated its iOS app to version 2.0. The highlighted feature of this new update is the redesigned user interface. Apart from this, another important addition to the update is the dedicated Photos tab with a timeline view of all automatically uploaded photos and videos. Dropbox stated in a blog post that it has updated the experience for iOS devices and this update is not limited to just the iPhone or iPod touch, but for the iPad as well.

Dropbox stated that now all of one’s photos are right at their fingertips with the new Photos tab. Commenting on this feature, the developers state that with just a tap, one will be able to scroll through a timeline of all the photos they have automatically uploaded. They stated, “And since Dropbox is a one stop shop for all your memories, you can also check out the photos you’ve uploaded from everywhere else!”

When one selects a photo, they will be able to view it in full-screen. Dropbox claimed, “This means one can get maximum real estate when you’re flipping through puppy photos, or those pics of your bare feet.” There is also a new speedy scroller, which will help you navigate all the way back to your earliest photos.

You can also upload directly to a folder. Speaking on this feature, Dropbox states that it has streamlined the way one can upload to their Dropbox. All one needs to do is navigate to the folder of their choice and tap on the ‘+’ icon to upload something or create a new folder.
