As reported earlier, the Droid X was an opening day hit. The phones have been sold out at Verizon Wireless and Best Buy stores. The phone is still available at Amazon.com which says the phone is ‘in stock and available’.
The phone is listed as $179.99 with a contract which is $20 less than the listed price at Verizon Wireless and Best Buy. The unsubsidized phone will be available for $569.99.
