Droid X is An Opening Day Hit

Launched in mid-July, the Droid X has become an opening day hit. This, of course, is in the middle of all the iPhone 4 drama.

The phone sold out at all Verizon Wireless and Best Buy stores across the United States and people who still want the phone, have to wait until the 23rd of July to get the next batch. The Droid X is the latest addition to Verizon’s Android family, and appears to be Verizon’s answer to the iPhone 4. It features a 4.3-inch display, HDMI output, an 8MP camera, and the ability to capture 720p video.
