Developer Double Fine has revealed the voice actors’ casting for its upcoming crowdfunded adventure game Broken Age. The game will be starring industry staple Jennifer Hale alongside acting veteran Jack Black, who will be featuring as a cameo.

Other voice actors working on Broken Age include RIchard Horvitz, Nick Jameson, Grey Delisle and Cree Summer. Most, if not all of these voice actors have worked together on Double Fine’s earlier projects, with the most common games among them being Brutal Legend or Psychonauts. Check out the video that shows all of the voice actors:

“We have been so lucky over the last 13 years to work with the best actors in the industry, and now we’re calling them back for a kind of family reunion,” Double Fine’s Voice Director Khris Brown said in a statement, according to Polygon . “It’s like a big, Thanksgiving dinner, except everything’s being recorded. And everyone you’re related to is a super-talented actor. And the food’s really healthy because you’re in LA.”

The company had announced back in July that Broken Age would be split into two parts, the first of which will be available to purchase through Steam’s Early Access service in January 2014.

Studio founder Tim Schafer stated that Broken Age needs further funding to finish on time. Rather than going back to Kickstarter or asking a publisher, Double Fine has decided to offer half of the game through Early Access. This, Schafer hopes, will help improve the project’s efficiency without having to cut anything out of the game.

Broken Age was funded last year through Kickstarter under the name Double Fine Adventure. Thanks to its massive success, it opened up the doors to let other developers have their games funded through Kickstarter without having to approach publishers.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
