Sony is well known for its great image sensors and is unbeatable in its segment. RX100 IV is part of the popular Cyber-shot series by the company and stands in the category of Advanced Compact cameras. It offers 20MP resolution through its 1-inch Back-Side-Illuminated CMOS sensor while providing ISO range from 125 to 12800. The fixed lens on the camera offers a range of 24mm to 70mm with an aperture range of f/1.8 to f/2.8 during zoom.

The image shooting performance is similar to the Sony RX100 III but most significant improvements in the RX100 IV are in the video recording capabilities. RX100 IV bumps the specs to 16 fps continuous shooting, 2K video support, 960 fps high-speed video and a 2359k dot electronic viewfinder. This is a stark upgrade from the 10 fps continuous shooting, Full HD video recording, 120 fps high-speed video and a 1440k dot electronic viewfinder. If the video is not your priority, then you can go with the Sony RX100 III.

Fujifilm X20 is a compact digital camera by Fujifilm offering a 12MP CMOS Sensor. The camera offers Optical Image Stabilization along with an Optical viewfinder and a 12 fps continuous shooting. Also, the camera offers Full HD video recording and a 2.8-inch fixed type screen for the review. X20 has a fixed lens on the front with 28-112mm focal range with an aperture range of f/2.0 to f/2.8. Even though the camera does not have many features like the successor X30, the image quality and video recording resolution are at the part with each other.

It provides a 3-inch tilting screen the back. You can shoot images at four fps along with the capability to shoot video at Full HD resolution. NEX range has achieved a respectable place in the camera market because of its ISO range and robust performance.
