Diwali 2016: Flipkart, Amazon gear up for the third round of sale during October 25 - 28

These days e-commerce sites are ridden with sales, deals and offers. In the run-up to Diwali, sites like Flipkart, Amazon and  Snapdeal offer some cool deals online. Now, with a few days for Diwali, Flipkart and arch-rival Amazon are ready for the final face-off. While Flipkart has announced its ‘ Big Diwali sale’, Amazon India has announced the ‘ The Great Indian Festival Sale’, and both begin on 25 October, and will run up to 28 October. So, both e-commerce stores will begin the last leg of the race this midnight. Meanwhile, Flipkart already has its TV and appliances sale that started on 21 October, and will run up to 28 October. And, Amazon India site has ensured to combat it with its new discount offers on TVs that go up to 40 percent, along with an exchange offer and no cost EMI option. If sifting through deals is tedious, then you can also lookup for for some online coupon services  that will not just bring all the deals under one view, but you can get additional benefits. Digital wallets and other services like Paytm and Payback have also begun adding to the excitement. Several multi-brand loyalty programs have also come to the forefront such as Payback. Customers can utilise their existing points on Payback site for shopping across various online partners like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, etc on electronics, fashion, recharge, and travel. Both e-stores have teamed up with banks to bring additional discounts and cashback options. Amazon has chosen State Bank of India, while Flipkart opted for Citibank.
