Dishonored to get Game of the Year edition on October 11

Bethesda has announced that one of its most successful games of last year, Dishonored, is getting a Game of the Year Edition. North American gamers will see it hit stores on October 8, while the rest of the world will see it on October 11. It will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The company hasn’t announced any pricing for it yet, but we assume it will cost somewhere between Rs 2,500 and Rs 3,500, which is the same price the game was launched at.

As is usual for any other Game of the Year Edition, this one will have all the DLC that has been released for the game so far. This includes Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches and Void Walker’s Arsenal. Because of this, Bethesda claims that it will be the definitive compilation of Dishonored.

“Dishonored introduced a new world and cast of characters which have really resonated with gamers around the world since its release in October 2012,” said Pete Hines, Vice President of Marketing and PR at Bethesda Softworks. “We’re now excited to offer people the opportunity to have all of this great content in one package.”

Developed by Arkane Studios, Dishonored casts you as Corvo, a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. With Dishonored’s combat system, you can eliminate targets by combining supernatural abilities, weapons and unusual gadgets at your disposal. Pursue enemies under the cover of darkness or ruthlessly attack them head on with weapons drawn. The outcome of each mission plays out based on the choices you make.
