Dell's Future 10-inch Tablets to be called the Streak Pro and Latitude

Remember Dell’s roadmaps leaking out back in February ? There was a wide range of tablets and smartphones that the American company was planning of. For now, the tablets have got names and specifications, plus the release dates.

Codenamed Gallo, the Streak Pro is obviously the Streak’s successor and will be running on Android Honeycomb with Dell’s customized Stage 1.5 UI running on top. The tablet will be powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra T25 processor. It’ll have a 10-inch WXGA touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The category also has an Enterprise Application Stack which probably means some good apps for corporate use.

The Latitude ST tablet also boasts of a 10-inch HD screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and will be powered by an Intel Oak Trail processor clocking 1.5 GHz. It features 2 GB of RAM and maximum storage capacity of 128 GB SSD. The tablet is capable of giving a 1080p output, has a 3 megapixel rear and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and will be running on Windows 7.

While the Streak Pro is scheduled for launch in June this year, the Latitude ST will be hitting stores sometime in October.
