Cowon expands its portfolio with the SP2, their first portable Bluetooth speaker

Cowon has added a bunch of new devices to its product portfolio, amongst which is the Cowon SP2 – the companies first ever Bluetooth speaker. It’s available through Cowon’s website for a price of Rs 4,999.   The speaker features an elegant design and is highly portable in nature. It features Bluetooth and NFC for connectivity with smartphones. Other features also includes APT-X. The SP2 features a built-in microphone for answering calls and volume and playback controls for music playback. You can charge the SP2’s built-in battery via a microUSB cable. The speaker consists of two 2W drivers for stereo sound and can be operated up to 10meters via Bluetooth. Battery life is rated at 10 hours.   [caption id=“attachment_221111” align=“alignnone” width=“640”] The iAudio E3[/caption]   Apart from the speaker, Cowon also launched the iAudio E3. This is a fitness oriented MP3 player with built-in G sensors to record your exercise time and calories burnt. The unique design lets you grip the player while jogging or running. The player also features the full range of enhancements from Cowon like JetEffect BBE+. The iAudio E3 is available in 8GB and 16GB variants. The unique quality of the EH2 is that it features a dynamic and balanced armature driver for better sound fidelity. The earphone has a frequency response of 20Hz to 22,000Hz and featues a 24K gold plated plug for better conductivity. The earphones are available on Cowon’s site for Rs 14,500.
