Corsair has launched a new 128GB SSD in India from their performance lineup. The P3 128GB will go on sale for a price tag of Rs.14,000, coupled with a three-year warranty. The solid state drive (SSD) also has SATA III connectivity for faster transfer speeds.

The P3 series SSD packs a 2.5-inch form factor and Corsair also provides a 3.5-inch bracket to install it in your desktop computer. It boasts of an impressive 400Mbps read speed and 210Mbps write speed. The drive is distributed by Inspan Infotech and will be available across all major cities.
The pricing is really high for most average users, and will appeal more to enthusiasts. While an SSD certainly helps in speeding up boot times, you don’t really need such a large capacity for a boot drive - a 60GB SSD would do just fine which are quite affordable nowadays.
