Cooler Master, provider of power supplies, high-end chassis, thermal solutions, and mobile accessories has announced the launch of its new series of power supplies – the Thunder Series. Taking into consideration the wide voltage fluctuation in India, the Thunder series PSUs can withstand voltage fluctuations between 180 and 264VAC. Similarly, the Dual-layer EMI filter takes care of any stray interference, and the beefed up input capacitors produce holding times of greater than 14ms under full load. Moreover, the SMPS have integrated protection circuits for safeguarding your PC against electrical hazards such as over-voltage, over-power, over-current and short circuits.

The Thunder series is compliant with the ATX 12V v2.3 standard, and incorporates 0.99 Active Power Factor Correction (APFC). Under typical loading conditions, these power supplies are designed to provide up to 85 percent efficiency. They meet Energy Star and Blue Angel requirements.

Earlier this month, Cooler Master had announced the CM Storm Quick Fire Pro gaming keyboard. The keyboard that makes use of mechanical switches from Cherry is rated for over 50 million key presses.

Similar to other Cooler Master gaming keyboards, Quick Fire Pro is offered in Blue, Black, Brown and Red Cherry switches. So, one can choose between linear feedback and strong resistance depending on one’s preference. Cherry keys are rated for over 50 million keystrokes, and can take some serious abuse in extreme gaming conditions. Cherry Switches are known to be the best in the business and make up the core of CM Storm Mechanical Gaming Keyboards. The Quick Fire Pro features a high-grade braided cable ensuring that the keyboard and the connected peripherals maintain a strong link with the PC. So you focus on the game and the keyboard does the rest of the hard work.

Each key cap is laser-marked and has a non-glossy coating to improve the overall tactile response. In the Game mode, the Windows key is internally disabled so that you no longer face a situation where you accidentally minimise the game. The keyboard offers fast response time, and is suitable for playing any game or genre with its capability of 1ms response time in USB mode.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
