Consumers of the 2017 Microsoft Surface Pro are complaining of a screen bleed issue

Consumers of the 2017 Microsoft Surface Pro are complaining of a screen bleed issue at the bottom of the screen. Using the CTRL+Alt+Delete shortcut is one of the ways to check for the issue, as it is most noticeable against the plain blue background. The backlight on the device is leaking over to the main screen, leading to more than a hundred complaints on the Microsoft Support forums, according to a report in ONMSFT. Considering the premium pricing of the device, the expectations of build quality are at par with the MacBook line of devices from Apple. The issue has been reported over a month ago by some users, but Microsoft has not commented on the issue. The backlight bleeding into the screen could distort the colours and make the elements towards the bottom of the screen appear lighter. However, the bleeding is somewhat hidden by the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Some users have reported similar problems on older Microsoft Surface devices as well. The device was **first introduced in May** , at a small event in Shanghai. The Surface Pro has been priced at $799 (approximately Rs 52,000) with the fully packed variant going to $2,500 (roughly Rs 1,63,000). The device is not yet available in the Indian market.
