 "Conde Nast India Launches Apps for the PlayBook")
Publishing group, Conde Nast India’s online and web division released two applications for the BlackBerry Playbook upon the Playbook’s launch. The apps are the “The Luxury Guide to India” by Conde Nast Traveller, India and Vogue Stylist by Vogue, India. The apps launched exclusively for the BlackBerry platform, are available on both the PlayBook and BlackBerry smartphones. The apps will be available for free from the BlackBerry App World.
The Conde Nast Traveller app
“The Luxury Guide to India” is Conde Nast Traveller India’s first application. It is a GPS enabled travel companion. It has information on things to do, places to stay, places to eat, drink and shop in 18 different destinations. Because the app is GPS-based, it will detect location and provide the ‘most luxurious’ options nearby. Vogue Stylist is an interactive app that allows users to ask for and receive customizable trends, fashion tips and advice from a Vogue team. They’ll respond to users in 72 hours. It will also provide outfit ideas for different personalities and occassions.
