The laptop takes advantage of the recently announced the GTX Max-Q design by Nvidia. ASUS announced the ROG Zephyrus GX501VI and GX501VS both of which feature an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor and the GTX 1080 Max-Q with a form-factor of just 1.7 cm, weighing at 2.2 kgs.

There is a large grille above the keyboard to allow better cooling.  It also features anti-ghosting keys which can support up to 30 keys pressed at the same time. The ROG Zephyrus is expected to arrive by the end of June in the USA and Canada. The GX501VI model will start at $2699 (Rs 1,79,000 approx) and the GX501VS will start at $2299 (Rs 1,52,000 approx). While Asus hasn't confirmed, the only difference between the two models is that the VS model will include an Nvidia GTX 1070.
