Microsoft’s booth at Computex 2016, Taipei was relatively dull and the much anticipated Hololens was nowhere to be seen. Microsoft made up for it to some extent by introducing a Porsche designed 2-in-1 that’s powered by Windows 10. The renders show a really sleek convertible device. The devices features a 13.3-inch screen and, as is to be expected from a Microsoft-backed product, supports Hello 2.0, Cortana and all the other bells and whistles. Also included is a Surface Pen type accessory. Porsche Design has designed consumer electronic goods in the past, including smartphones. There is no information on who is actually making the device, nor is there any information on specifications and price. The devices are expected to go on sale by the end of this year. Obviously, these items aren’t for the general public and if you really care about the specs, you need your head examined. If you care about the price, you probably can’t afford it. Windows Hello is an authentication system for Windows 10 that uses biometric identifiers like an iris scan or a fingerprint scan to determine your identity. Windows Hello 2.0 is said to incorporate a more extensive set of authentication protocols, adding support for external means of authentication.
