Company of Heroes, Relic’s much awaited WWII FPS will be out next week, but the developer has released a single player demo weighing 1.76 gigs (that’s it??) that comprises of four tutorials, two singleplayer missions and a skirmish map for your pleasure. No clue what the game’s all about? Read this:
In Company of Heroes, gamers will experience the journey of the brave men of Able Company in a deep single-player campaign that begins with the invasion of Normandy through their fight across Europe. Company of Heroes’ completely destructible environment means no two battles ever play out in the same way. Advanced squad AI brings soldiers to life as they interact with the environment and execute advanced squad tactics to eliminate the opposition forces.
I don’t think there’s a lot of difference between this demo and the beta one out sometime ago, but if you still haven’t tried it, head over to worthplaying.com for a glimpse of some WWII RTS action.
