Comic Con Hyderabad was held this weekend at Hyderabad and the event certainly does seem to have been eventful. Comic Con is mostly known for cosplay and meet-and-greets with unexpected celebs. This time’s comic con was no different. Special guests included the likes of Afshan Azad (Padma Patil from Harry Potter), David Lloyd (illustrator of V for Vendetta) and Dan Parent (an artist who worked on Archie Comics, Barbie, Felix the Cat and more). Other notable Indian guests include Prasad Bhatt, Vivek Goel and more. You can check out the entire list here.
A round of the Indian Championship of Cosplay (ICC) was also held at the venue. Winners from the comic cons in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore will win awards. Judges and fans will vote for their favourite from among these finalists and that lucky cosplayer will head to Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo (C2E2), to compete against global finalists.

Since Comic Con is all about comics, the Hyderabad event saw the debut of comics like Sagar, Sirji Comics, Rakshak and more. For entertainment, as if Comic Con wasn’t already entertaining enough, one could partake of paintball, table top gaming and a lot more. And posters? You’ll find them all over the place!
