Cloud Computing Now Possible on a Mobile Broadband Device

Cloud Computing Now Possible on a Mobile Broadband Device

Tata Teleservices has announced the launch of Nova Navigator, powered by Novatium for its Photon Pro and Photon Plus community in India. This is for the first time that a cloud computing can now be accessible on a mobile broadband device.

Partnering with Novatium Solutions Private Limited today will give Tata Teleservices the opportunity to expand high speed broadband market with the computing services in India through Novatium’s Nova Navigator.

Nova Navigator is an ‘obsolescence-proof computing service’, with manageability carried out centrally through the server, where the subscriber would automatically get ‘on air’ upgrades totally free of cost from anywhere across the world. Nova Navigator is a ‘zero maintenance’ access device and is easy to Plug & Play anywhere. With features such as 3G support, it has the technical superiority to match up with all software advancements like plug and play printer support, faster browsing and multimedia amongst others.

Lloyd Mathias, Chief Marketing Officer, Tata Teleservices Limited, said, “Cloud computing is changing the rules of the game by offering virtual internet and data access and coupled with Tata Photon Plus, a mobile broadband service, it is sure to be a double benefit for the consumers. In true sense, the consumer is now mobile with access to his data powered by Nova Navigator and high speed internet access at the convenience of his home or office. Tata Teleservices takes the pride in bringing this service which is the first in the industry and I am certain that both our Tata Photon Plus- wireless broadband and Tata Photon Pro- fixed line broadband user base will find this extremely useful, convenient and affordable.”

Nova Navigator supports Novell Linux, Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac Operating systems.

Alok Singh, CEO, Novatium Solutions Pvt. Ltd. said, “India is on the verge of witnessing a computing revolution and we hope to be its engine. Nova Navigator coupled with Tata Photon has the potential to revolutionize the entire computing market. The Naviagator is priced at Rs. 4999and the Nova computing charges start from Rs. 249 across India.
